Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood is a American comedy performer, TV host and actress best known for hosting the daytime talk show The Talk. Born in Arkansas she grew up within Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl comes from a troubled family. Sheryl was a part of her life helping her younger sister Frankie as she was a victim of polio. As a teenager, she experienced an uneasy relationship with her mom. Sheryl claims that at some time, her mother stabbed the father of her child due to her proximity to him. When she graduated from college Sheryl was a soldier in the military. Sheryl's interest in comedy was greater. In 1989, she became the first female to make it to the top in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. She started her TV career in 1992 when she was a regular performer in the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. She also appeared in 2000 as host of the television series Oh Drama! In 2011, she began appearing as a co-host on the talk show The Talk. She's appeared in fictitious show including Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
