Zoe Saldana's parents, Asalia and Aridio Saldana were born on the 19th June, 1977 in Passaic New Jersey. Her father was Dominican and her mother is Puerto Rican. Her family was from Queens, New York. In 2010, she moved with her family to the Dominican Republic where they spent seven years. Zoe discovered a love for dancing while in Dominican Republic.
