Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic, and Ilkay Silk, who is an actress as well as a producer, director and playwright, teacher, and Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father hails from Britain and her mother is a "Turkish Cypriot-English expat." Anna's earliest memories include attending play rehearsals and watching her mother's work. In her early years, Anna appeared on several commercials for television. Anna moved to Toronto in Ontario to pursue her acting. Over the years which followed, she relocated into Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting workshop in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009. Anna was recently converted to Judaism and they got married in Fredericton. Bo and Lauren's love story (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) appears on CNN's all-time favorite television couples list. They also were named by E! as the top TV couple of the year 2013.
