Summer Glau
Her first TV role was a guest appearance as ballerina in a 2002 episode of the popular television show Angel. She was the target of director Joss Whedon who later made her a part of his critically acclaimed but short-lived TV show Firefly as River Tam, a role she reprised in the sequel's feature film Serenity. Glau previously auditioned for the part of a Power Ranger (White Wild Force Ranger Alyssa Enrile) in Power Rangers Wild Force but was defeated by the actress Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon.Glau played the role in the episode "Love Conquers Al" from the TV series Cold Case. The actress had a small role in the movie Sleepover where she played high school senior Shelly. She was also in the "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?" episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. ", season two of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girl who plays Jeremy Erhart). Glau was Tess Doerner (a paranoid, schizophrenic returningee) in the second season of The 4400. From season three, she became a recurring role. Mammoth was also her role in the horror comedy. Glau played the role of The Initiation of Sarah, an ABC Family TV movie. Glau played Cameron Phillips, a Terminator-infiltration unit that was sent back to Skynet to defend John Connor (and Sarah Connor). The 7th episode of the show, "The Demon Hand" included a number of scenes where Glau in character as Cameron performs in ballet. In the second season's episodes "Allison From Palmdale" (season 2), Glau played Allison Young her human doppelganger. Glau was also featured as herself on a CBS episode from 2009 of The Big Bang Theory's drama.
